American Heart Association
Heart Walk and Festival – The AHA’s premiere event for raising funds to save lives from heart disease and stroke. Designed to promote physical activity and heart-healthy living, and also increase awareness
Teaching Gardens – Teaches kids between 1st and 5th grade how to plant seeds, nurture growing plants, harvest produce, and understand the value of healthy eating habits at the following schools. Garden-themed lessons teach nutrition, math, science, and other subjects all while having fun in the fresh air
My Heart. My Life. – A collection of programs and activities with the goal of increasing the number of people who understand the link between their health and their risk of heart disease
Check. Change. Control. – A multi-cultural initiative designed to close the gap in the treatment of high blood pressure – especially in African Americans
Cleveland Goes Red For Women – Educational program to help spread awareness about heart disease, particularly in local women. Supported by University Hospitals
CPR and ECC Training – CPR and emergency cardiovascular care (ECC) training and education courses

World Heart Federation
World Heart Day – A global event that unites people against cardiovascular disease, motivating educational opportunities to ultimately lower global disease burden and suffering.
Emerging Leaders Programme – Program that forms and develops a cohort of experts who collaborate, research, and act to reduce premature mortality from cardiovascular diseases globally.
